I was invited by Maria Letícia to make a psychedelic poster as a birthday gift for her husband, he's a psy electronic music DJ and has a studio called RICOX.
The idea of the gift was to make a poster for the studio with egyptian, sci-fi, fantasy and nature elements together, and the result is a very unique trippy art.
The main character is a wizzard inspired by Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings universe, one of his most beloved stories. The composition is a cosmic scene with planets, a giant pyramid, mushrooms and an extra terrestrial mothership above him. He's oppening a portal inside himself that leads to another dimension, while growing the mushrooms with an energy coming from his hands.
This art is about celebration, but it's also about a journey to the center of our universe. The magic of the cosmos lives within.
